| At the school it is told that they use and train their magic in PE classes. How this magic works has yet to be shown though. Another mention of magic was in the form of a pair of glasses which a professor and her assistant accidentally dropped as they ran into Yuri. The glasses were then shown to have the ability to see through fabric, much to Yuri's embarrassment as she ended up seeing more than she'd ever asked to see. |  |
| Since the origin of the gate isn't known it could very well be either a failed experiment by magic users from the Elf World, or of its own making. The fact that the gate needed a maintenance check during the end and start of the new year, might suggest the involvement of elves keeping the gate stable using magic. |  |
