This is a list of sketches and early prototypes of some characters, and sketches of other characters the author has been talking about introducing, but hasn’t yet done. If you know of such sketches then you're welcome to add them and perhaps give the sketches an introduction/translation text.

Mara
An early illustration resembling Mara was originally posted on July 16th, 2018. This is likely an early prototype of Mara's design. On the right is another illustration of Mara more closely resembling her final design was posted on January 27th, 2019, about 3 weeks before the release of episode 1.

Tansho
Kawakami posted two variants of an image that closely resembles Tansho on October 27th, 2018. This likely an early design that eventually became Tansho's. On the right is an early illustration of Tansho posted on January 20th, 2019, about 4 weeks before the release of episode 1.

Professor Handachi & Zombie Maid Elf Hondachi
Hondachi's design was originally revealed after episode 24 on Halloween, October 31st, 2021. A second sketch was posted on Kawakami's Twitter on November 11th, 2021. In mid-December 2021, Kawakami created a concept sheet as a reference for Professor Handachi and Zombie Maid Hondachi's episode 25 designs.
