Dorm mother Funou has been shown to know about Japanese cuisine, as she’s fixed many students' homesickness with food from their world. In Yuri’s case Funou helped teach Mara how to make Miso soup. The elven world also has coca plants which means a steady supply of chocolate, a source for dairy products as shown in an early episode where Tansho helps Yuri shop, and here it’s seen that they buy butter. The ecosystem in both the human and elven world are similar, and therefore similar plants and wildlife exist in both.
| The erectshroom is described by Funou as having the same taste as the human world's common mushroom, the Agaricus Bisporus. Both types of mushrooms are edible, and it seems that both of them can grow without sunlight. The clear difference between the two being the shape, in the elven world, just like with species and landscapes, the erectshroom is affected by what Funou calls the third gender. |  |
